Frank grew up on a steady diet of 1980s and 1990s pop-culture film and television, including iconic shows such as The Real Ghostbusters, The Munsters Today, and Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.
A lifelong lover of schlocky 1950s B-movie science fiction and classic Hollywood horror — particularly George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead — his passions include VHS tapes, action figures, and retro toys and collectables.
Active in community work since the age of 12, Frank continues to volunteer and explore local North Glasgow history through podcasting, writing, and community-led creative projects.
Frank is also a BAFTA-celebrated Scottish filmmaker and TV producer. His notable work includes Elizabeth, starring Mary Waters, produced for BBC Film Network, and Waiting for Liz, a biopic of Elizabeth Taylor, which received an Outstanding Achievement for British Cinema award.
Beyond film and television, he is the drummer for female-fronted rock band Eric and the Bunny Boilers, and the founder of Braw TV — Scotland’s new free, global television channel.
He is also co-founder of North Glasgow Creative, Springburn Radio, and Springburn TV, and hosts his own podcasts Frankly Speaking, Hollywood Insights, and Springburn Memories.
